Palacio de Bellas Artes and Beatriz Espejo (author)

This morning we had a short lecture/discussion and before noon we went to "Palacio de Bellas Artes."  This is the national theater, a beautiful building made of Carrara marble in the center of the city .

I was not able to take pictures of the beautiful murals (Siqueiros, Orozco, Ordonez, etc.) that decorate the inside of this theater, because I forgot to pay. However, you can go to the above website.

Poor pictures of one of the murals

Better but not really

In the late afternoon, we had a very interesting presentation by reknown Mexican author, Beatriz Espejo.
