Graciela, Evan, and Molly - Parque de Chapultepec
|
This morning, five of us took the "metro" and went back to "Parque de Chapultepec." We went to visit el "museo de Tamayo" a wonderful mexican artist (
http://www.museotamayo.org/ ). The museum is small and contains very interesting pieces of modern art but unfortunately none were Tamayo's.
Later on we walked around the park. It's amazing how in the middle of this huge metropolis is this beautiful park full of trees. Next, we took a taxi and went to Polanco, a very wealthy neighborhood. We had a late lunch and walked around. This area is the Beverly Hills of Mexico, it has Tiffany's, Cartier, Gucci, etc. I bought me a cute black dress at Zara's and a pair of walking shoes. No, not Gucci's.
